Söring GmbH Cold Plasma Coagulator 1000 (CPC)

Working in close cooperation with leading surgeons and employing their many years of experience in product development, Söring is constantly optimizing and expanding their wide product range. And what’s more, everything comes from one source – Söring develops, produces and distributes their entire range of medical equipment! This is one of the many reasons Advanced Urologic Systems uses Söring expertise in the medical community.

In cold plasma coagulation (CPC), medicinal helium gas serves as a carrier medium for the electrical current. Non-contact coagulation is possible due to an ionized, pure helium jet.

The use of the Söring GmbhH Cold Plasma Coagulator 1000 method offers excellent patient safety since no electrical current flows through the body in this technology. (It is not necessary to use a neutral electrode.)

The Advantages of Cold Plasma Coagulation

  • Good control of penetration depth in tissue
  • No adhesion of instruments to tissue thanks to the non-contact effect
